I’ve asked a few people about their New Year’s resolutions, and not one of them told me that they wanted to avoid a brain injury; that’s because it’s a given. Regardless of your other health plans, it isn’t too late to add a couple of resolutions to your goals for the New Year. Here are some basic tips:
1. Wear a helmet & a seat belt.
2. WEAR a HELMET and a SEAT BELT!
3. Feed your brain with the good stuff: omega-3 fatty acids (commonly found in fish), protein, antioxidants, fruits and vegetables and vitamin B.
4. Exercise, exercise, exercise.
