Please Support The TBI Act
On March 21, 2012, Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. and Rep. Todd Russell Platts introduced The Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Act, H.R. 4238 to the House of Representatives.
The act would amend the Public Health Service Act to include The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) projects for the prevention of Traumatic Brain Injuries. It also requires that three years after the enactment of the act, if it passes, the HHS study will give a report on collecting and disseminating studies on the prevalence of individuals with TBI who were formerly in the military.
We would like to ask that you please ask your Representative to co-sponser the TBI Act, H.R. 4238 today, and also ask them to serve on the Congressional Brain Injury Task Force if they do not already participate.
