Rolf B. Gainer, Ph.D., Diplomate ABDA, is the Chief Executive Office at Brookhaven Hospital and the Vice President of Rehabilitation Institutes of America. He is the founder of the Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute of Ontario (Canada). Dr. Gainer is a psychologist who has been involved in the design and operation of treatment programs since 1977. He has published numerous articles on mental health and rehabilitationtopics and has presented at many international conferences. He remains active in outcome research.
Liphard D’Souza, MD, is the Medical Director of Brookhaven’s Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute at Brookhaven. Dr D’Souza holds multiple board certifications in Neurology. He obtained his medical training at St. John’s Medical College in Bangalor, India, and was an Associate Professor at Oral Roberts University School of Medicine at the City of Faith Hospital. He has worked in hospital, agency and private practice settings for over 32 years.
Mark D. Gage, DO, is the Medical Director for Brookhaven Hospital. He is board certified in psychiatry and is a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences. In addition to his studies in psychiatry, Dr. Gage completed his undergraduate work in psychology at Chapman University. He brings over seventeen years of experience in psychiatry to Brookhaven.
Chisoo Choi, MD, is an Internal Medicine Consultant for Brookhaven Hospital. He is a board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Choi graduated from Rush Medical College in Chicago and was a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine and the Oral Roberts University School of Medicine.
Ron Broughton, M Ed, LPC, is the Chief Clinical Officer at Brookhaven Hospital. He received an M Ed from the University of Central Oklahoma. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is also licensed to supervise LPC candidates. He has written several academic papers on schizophrenia and psychosis, and has conducted numerous mental health presentations and workshops. He also served on an expert panel for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health Substance Abuse Services.
Brian Boatwright, Psy.D., is a neuropsychologist and the Director of the Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute at Brookhaven Hospital. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology from Georgia School of Professional Psychology-Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Boatwright received specialized training in cognitive rehabilitation at Emory University Center for Rehabilitation Medicine, completed an internship at Vanderbilt University/Tennessee Valley Healthcare System in Nashville, Tennessee, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the Kansas University School of Medicine in Wichita, Kansas. His professional and research interests include traumatic brain injury, general and forensic neuropsychological assessment, dementia, and cognitive rehabilitation.
Don Mahan, MSW, is the Program Coordinator for the Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute at Brookhaven Hospital. He completed his Masters Degree in Social Work at the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelors Degree in the same field of study from Northeastern State University.
Mary Young, MS, LPC, is a therapist for the Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute at Brookhaven Hospital. She completed her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at Northwestern State University of Louisiana and her Bachelors Degree in Psychology at Henderson State University. She has been in the counseling field for fourteen years.
Laura Wilson, MS, SLP, is a speech therapist for the Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute at Brookhaven. She completed her Masters and Bachelors Degrees in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Tulsa.
Deepti Gupta, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist for the Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute at Brookhaven Hospital. She completed her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy at Hamdard University and her Bachelors Degree in the same field of study at the University of Delhi. Gupta is licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.
Matt Maxey, RN, BSN, is the Director of Nursing at Brookhaven Hospital. He received his Bachelors Degree in Nursing from the University of Central Oklahoma. He has certification in emergency room trauma as well as a wealth of experience in care centers and hospitals.
