General Admissions Questions What ages do you accept? At NRI, we accept individuals aged 18 and up. What is your typical length of stay? Because brain injuries vary considerably, length of stay is largely determined by the extent of the injury and the patient's ability to engage in rehabilitation. Our average length of stay is three months, but we can also accomodate individuals seeking a longer continuum of care. What kinds of insurance do you accept? We accept various types of federal, state, and private funding sources. Because of the nature of the healthcare industry, we suggest you contact us to determine your eligibility. Do you accept out-of-state patients? Yes. Because we offer such a unique and dynamic treatment program for brain injuries, we have been able to help individuals from all over North America, as well as some individuals from other countries. How many beds can you accomodate? Currently, we have 15 beds dedicated to neurological rehabilitation. What does a typical day of rehabilitation look like? Our patients enjoy a therapeutic, effective daily schedule that consists of meal times, various group and individual therapies, recreational and free time, and much more. Patients also enjoy daily outings and excursions to local events. |
